For 2016 this means a wine that is big but balanced, and a joy to drink from start to finish. Dark fruits such as black cherry, blackberry and plum on both the nose and palate accompany aromatics of blueberry pie, black tea and violet. The palate is concentrated with smooth tannins and a long finish.
