Spring is in the air, we survived the rain and St. Patrick’s Day, some of us are still on Spring break, right now only one thing is for certain… Spring whites are here and we will all taste them together this Friday from 5-7!  

Tasting at Cardullos Gourmet Shoppe in the boutique wine and craft beer section is becoming a tradition in the Square! We welcome you into our home and treat you like part of our family. This week we are mindful of what makes a fabulous host. We believe a star worthy host makes everyone feel comfortable.

Come be part of the family at the Shoppe from 5-7 this Friday! Experience our hospitality while nibbling on hors d’ oeuvres made by your gracious hosts meant to be paired with our Spring French wines of the week! Don’t worry if Chateau de la Greffiere Macon La Roche-Vineuse Blanc and Chateau Virgile Costieres de Nimes seems confusing and intimidating…by the time we part you’ll be very comfortable with the wines, you may even leave with a French accent! 2008 Chateau de La Greffiere Macon La Roche-Vineuse "Sous Le Bois"
The village of La Roche Vineuse (meaning vinous rock) is appropriately named for limestone found in the vineyards. This vineyard is located in the heart of Maconn7ais. This chardonnay has balanced richness with minerality, softened with some oak. Very elegant and a great value $18.99

2008 Chateau Virgile Costieres de Nimes
Located in Vauvert, Costieres de Nimes on clay and alluvial gravel deposits from the Rhone River. This wine is 40% Marsanne 40% Rousanne 20% Viognier. A medium bodied white with a floral nose, white peach and pear with a lively mineral finish tempered with hits of citrus and lemon zest.
